Music production is the creative and technical process of making music using a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW). Students learn how today’s songs are
crafted by building beats, arranging sounds, recording vocals or instruments, and shaping everything into a polished track.

No, we do not offer traditional piano lessons. Traditional piano classes focus on technique, reading sheet music, and performing pre-written pieces.
The Music Lair is a creativity-based modern music program where students compose their own music using a DAW.
Although we are not a piano program, we do teach music theory basics using a piano keyboard to help students understand chords, scales, melody, and harmony. Students often use a MIDI keyboard to create musical ideas, but the focus is on music creation, not classical performance.
No experience is required. Students can start with zero musical background. While learning an instrument can enhance creativity, it is not necessary
to begin or succeed in music production.
Not at all. Students do not need to know how to write songs.
As they build beats, melodies, and chord progressions, they naturally develop songwriting skills through the creative process.

We suggest at least 30 minutes of practice per day, or a few dedicated sessions each week. Most students practice more on their own because making music feels fun, rewarding, and expressive.
Students may join at any time throughout the year.
We offer ongoing weekly classes across several levels. The duration of the program depends on the level and goals selected. Students can continue progressing
as long as they want to grow creatively.
Yes. Private lessons are available for students who want one-on-one instruction, accelerated progress, or focused development in areas such as beat-making, mixing, vocal production, or artist development.
